Most cargo racks including Gobi-desert style racks use our 1" diameter.

2002 - older Jeep Wrangler use 2" in the front and 3" in the back seating area

2003 - 2018 Jeep Wrangler use 3" in front and 4" size in the back seating area
- 2019 - newer Jeep Wrangler JL/JLU uses 3.5" size.

Toyota FJ Cruiser, Nissan Frontier and Xterra equipped with OEM factory roof racks/rails use the 2" size.

Others may measure diameter (top to bottom distance as straight line) of bar on vehicle and they contour for square tube rack applications.
