  • Great way to keep your soft goods up and out of the way, hide valuables from view, and use otherwise unused space!

  • Fits all 5th generation 4Runner.

  • Super strong installation and large capacity with 6 welded stainless steel D-rings and footman mount points.

  • Pulls up tight and high in middle with our black PVC coated steel mounts that fit factory "coat hook" locations in rear ceiling.

  • Adjustable with 18" straps for large, bulky camping or other soft items.

  • Can drop down to make a mini rear cargo barrier in 2 row 4Runner attaching to the rear seat back hooks.

  • Vehicle can be easily returned to factory original appearance later if desired.

  • Shown with rear barrier net available separately.

  • Webbing net versions come with 4" or smaller openings. Ceiling Nets made in standard cargo net webbing style will act as a storage area for hanging, affixing carabiners or stowing soft gear larger than the 4 openings. If you want maximum height to ceiling or carry smaller items we recommend our mesh or hybrid versions.

  • Custom stitching color, material and material color available.

How to Install

Ask a Question
  • What are the dimensions of the 4runner cargo roof net? I'm looking to use it to stow my compound bow. Do you think it would be suitable for that purpose?

21" deep and 36" wide.  Certainly plenty strong enough to support the bow.

  • Is there a maximum weight capacity for the roof net?

We have tested with up to 75# off-road without failure however we would never recommend placing that sort of weight above occupants.   Some of our customers store camp tables, chairs, lighting and photography equipment, even surfboards.

  • When you say, "maximum height to ceiling" (regarding mesh/hybrid vs. standard webbing in the description), what do you mean? Are you able to tighten the mesh/hybrid models more so than the standard? Is there a recommended weight capacity (assuming evenly distributed) for the cargo net?

The mesh has a slight spring to it as it wants to contract a bit, pulling the net "flatter".
We've tested these with 75# weights on trail use.  Of course, we wuldn't recommend that much above any passengers head.  Customers store photography, cooking gear and camp stuff most often.

  • Hi, I have a 5th gen w/ 3rd row seating. I do NOT use the 3rd row. Is it still possible to install the net with the 3rd row seat belt placement? Thanks!

    Yes, no issues on this.

  • Do you need to drill into your car to use this product?

This one does have some hidden mounts to install with drilling behind trim panels. See video down on this page.  Here's the version that does not require drilling.

  • What product is the one that covers the rear side windows?

This one is above the side windows.  We do not currently offer nets for the 1/4 window glass but it is in prototype development. Please contact if interested that option

  • what is the difference between your standard webbing and mil spec / military grade? Is your standard product inferior to mil. spec?

Here is the breakdown for different materials.  Diffent purposes, hauling dogs, cargo boxes, packages etc The ceiling net is probably most popular in the mesh or the hybrid versions to keep smaller things up top next to headliner.  Hybrid allows you to hang things underneath as well, drying shoes, carabineers etc

  • 2010 - Newer Toyota 4Runner 5th Gen Cargo Area Ceiling Attic Net. Does this come with all the required installation hardware?
